Representing North Ogden Junior High in China:

  • Principal Wendy Long went to China last month. She visited the schools (elementaries, junior highs, high schools, and universities) over there in preparation for NOJH upcoming Chinese immersion program. She took gifts and postcards to share. It was fun to represent North Ogden Junior High. Their students K-12 are at school from 7:30 A.M.- 9:30 P.M. with lunch and rest times included. Their students have to achieve a high grade point to even continue on to high school. Child Center Focus vs. Teacher Center Focus.

                        Comments/Questions: Ms. Wendy Long, Principal

  • Local K-9 units came yesterday 12-6-2016. Students may be a little nervous.   We are making sure our students are safe. We support Weber County Sheriff Dept., who takes the lead. Our NOJH Office Child oversees this, with the dogs being from Weber County. It was a great and successful training. A request was made that parents be notified via email, so that they can follow-up after the training visits with their students.

  • March 2017 New gym finished

  • Goal – Pods & hallways to be painted and re-carpeted.

  • Jan 12, 2017 Community Counsel training @ Highland
