Emergency Plan Review:
- The safety coordinator for NOJH is Mr. Rod Rippon, Math Teacher, SPR Facilitator.
Hope Week Review: Mr. Matt Deamer, Counselor
- Hope Week was a great success. Sept. 27th – Oct. 1st, 2022. A Big Thank-you to NOJH Hope Squad, PTSA, NOJH Faculty and Staff, and a lot of Community support.
- Light Up the Night! The Light of Hope! Hope Gives Me Inner Strength!
Try It Knight! Hope Wheel!
- College and Career week – Reality Town for 8th graders – Guest speaker for 7th graders
- Counseling Accreditation is in February this school year.
- Focus data project – needs of our school

- 156 one-quarter credits restored by summer school – no cost to students – ESSER funds
PTSA Report: Ms. Keri Fidler, Parent, PTSA Representative
- Approximately 3,000 attended NOJH Hope Week “TRY IT Knight”. We were issued 500 free food vouchers and ran out. Seeing our need, we were promised more vouchers next year. Our community was very understanding and respectful.
Tik Tok: Ms. Wendy Long
- Handed out and discussed the letter sent from WSD to parents concerning the viral social media trend Tik Tok “Devious Licks” (see attachments). She also shared how this has been affecting our school.
Comments:
- Ms. Wendy Long stated that at the NOJH Hope Week “TRY IT Knight” there was a place to sign up ‘Race to Raise’ money for our super hero student. Very successful.
- Mr. Ryan Gross’ wife helped raise $13,000 for our super hero student. What wonderful love and support.
- NOJH proudly presents Disney The Little Mermaid. February 11-12 and 18-19, 2022
