COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETING

School Land Trust 2022-2023:   

• Not submitted yet.
• Everyone looked through it before sending. 
• Friday – Trust lands review by Wendy
• Goals – 
  • #1 – increase 9th grader for Graduation
    • 2020 – 76% of the 9th graders were on track
    • 2020-2021 – read from trust lands
      • Rise testing scores / ACT
      • “Increase” scores rising in percentage for NOJH
  • #2 – Homework Haven
    • Software ALEKS, buying leases
    • repairs and maintenances 
• Buyout – 8 teachers = $86,000 – math & science
• No more ESSR Funds – 2022-23
• Support Summer School – 2022-2023
• ISSA Funds 2022-2023 – mental health support staff
• FTE – do not spend – 110% capacity 

Counseling:  Comprehensive Guidance Review State Approved

•  Great Job  

Reality Town / Career Day:  March 17th, 2022

•  Job Shadow all 9th graders.
• Reality Town all 8th graders
• Professional Presenters all 7th graders

VEX Robotics:  Made it into Worlds Competition – First time in WSD History

Orchestra:  State Competition – 1st time in Weber School District History

Chinese Immersion:  Conference / hire

• Hired a new Chinese Immersion Teacher for 2022-2023.  Talked about his interview

BYU Idaho:  Student Teacher Site

Staffing:  

• Hire Math teacher for Mr. Rod Rippon who is retiring.
• Hire another teacher for ½ Math and ½ Band

School Registrations:
