Welcome & Introductions: Kristyn welcomed the group and led Pledge of Allegiance

Minutes (Keri): Minutes approved and posted online

Principal’s Report (Sherry):

• PTC - Is the virtual and live format working?
  • Sherry will talk with faculty to see what they prefer
• New process for DCFS reporting
  • Protects teacher and person reporting
• PLCs 
  • District push to improve and prioritize
• New Schedule for next year - back to earlier start and regular early outs for PLCs
• Starting AP Geography next year (Mr. Reynolds)
  • Students must have 3.5 gpa and good reading skills
• Looking for another student advocate and/or permanent substitute
• Can we shorten the length of stomps to 1:30
• Start evening activities by 6:00pm to prioritize sleep

Counseling:

• Finished 10th grade registration
• Will do elementaries this week
• Tardy Party - 656 qualified
• Kindness week next week
  • Assembly, pizza, kindness wall, wear red/purple
• OWATC Tours upcoming
• Incentive
  • Fat Cats
• Career Day- March 22
  • 7th Grade Career Fair
  • 8th Grade Reality Town
  • 9th Grade Job Shadow
  • Need parent support

Treasurer’s Report (Kami): 

PTSA Reps (Kristyn):

• Valentine’s Day Stomp Feb 10 @ 2:30-4:30
  • Wristbands will be sold during lunch and some given to counseling
  • Cotton candy
  • Supervision is important to keep behavior appropriate
• PTSA Day at Capitol - Feb 23

Fundraising (Kristyn): 

• RJP Construction, Allred & Oliverson, Northern Ice, Visiting Angels, Big O, Lance Albrechtsen, Jones Shirts, Besst Realty, Crown Trophy, Rands Roofing, Delair Financial, Hoopes Dental, Ward Creager Dental, Advocates Law Firm
• 2 spots open currently
• Pay online through Member Hub

President’s Report:

• Doughnut Day 
  • Cost $394, sold $210. Ordered 450 - good amount
• Legislative Day at the Capital: Jan 27th & Feb 17th
  • Register at UTAHPTA.org
  • Some events are online and free others are $5-$15
• PTC Dinner on February 15th - Kristyn will order Zupa’s
• PTSA Nominating Committee:

• Need a committee: Kristyn, Marlisa, Mindy, Keri

• No School on Feb 17th & 20th
