Welcome & Introductions: Kristyn welcomed the group and led Pledge of Allegiance

Minutes (Keri): Minutes approved and posted online

Next Year’s Board: 

• Cami Pollard conducted swearing in
• Board voting was done on 4/19 over text and Group Me
  • President: Jill Kirkham
  • President Elect:
  • Secretary: Cassie Lindberg
  • Treasurer: Kami Overdiek
  • Legislative VP: 
• Meetings may be held 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:30

Principal’s Report (Sherry):

• New PE Teacher - Bethany Minnoch
• Mr. Craynor and Ms. Barker will help with lunch intramurals next year
• Mr. Reynolds will teach 2 AP Geography classes
• Looking to hire a student advocate and 2 paraprofessionals
• PowerSchool system will launch this fall. Teachers will receive training as part of professional development.
• Next year’s schedule has been released. There will be 2 early out days each month for professional development
• GoGuardian will supplement Bark  and will allow ChromeBooks to be monitored from 8-4 each day.
• Crisis Response - Standard Response Protocol
• Working to enforce no food drop-offs, parent check-outs

Counseling:

• Makeup credit option - 
  • Summer school
  • 2 weeks, $35 for as many credits as they can complete
• Adding new classes to help all students
• Advocate to help in counseling
• Adding study class

Treasurer’s Report: (Kami)

• Income was from interest and donut day
• Finishing up teacher grants
  • 7 teachers still need to turn in receipts
  • Jackie will email them to remind

President’s Report: (Kristyn)

• Donut day we bought 550 doughnuts
  • 80 were for the teachers
  • $207 in sales
• Teacher Appreciation Day repeat - May 17
• Upcoming Dates:
  • Spring Dance - 5/12 
  • Lagoon Incentive - 5/18
  • Awards Ceremony (invite only) - 5/23 morning
  • Closing Assembly - 5/24
  • Yearbook Day - 5/25; 
    • 9th Grade Party -noon
      • Grad gifts passed out in 1st period
    • Zeppe’s outside
