1) Welcome/Pledge (Mallorey):
2) Minutes (Mallorey): First meeting of the year
3) Principal’s Report: Sherry Patton or Niels Hansen
-Enforcing device policy- students only allowed to use devices during lunches and in between class
-Lots of new and amazing teachers this year
-District strategic plan- Elevate 28- Meeting Sept 11th, 2:15 pm @Weber HS
-One Caring Adult- staff and faculty trying to make a connection with students. Helps
with a sense of belonging.
-Higher scores overall in AP classes GOOD JOB STUDENTS & TEACHERS
-Student advocates are doing a great job working with students and teachers
-Embedding school values (Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe) Being safe also
includes NOT having your student come to your car during lunch for food- bring it to them at the office
4) Counselor’s Report: Jackie Muno or other counselor
-Spirit week 9th-13th

Tuesday-Adam Sandler
Wednesday-Western
Thursday-Dress like a Teacher
Friday-School Colors
-9/16 Weber HS will come talk to 9th graders
5) Treasurer’s Report (Jim): HOPE Week Funds

6) PTSA Reps (Jim/Anna):
-Application for student reps will be sent out soon! Watch for that in your email.

7) Reflections (?):
Decided to forgo reflections this year due to lack of involvement

8) President’s Report (Mallorey):
● Parent Teacher Dinner When? Where? We will reach out for parent help
-We will be ordering Cafe Zupas. Orders from teachers will be due by Sept 20th.
Parent Teacher Conferences are on Sept 25th
● Donut Day 1st Quarter Date? Oct? We will reach out for parent help
-October 29th during student lunches. Free donut for members of the PTSA, $1
for those who aren’t members
● HOPE WEEK, questions to Kristyn- WHS PTA President
-Try It Knight @NOJH Sept 24th We will reach out for parent help
-Speaker @Weber HS Sept 26th

Next meeting: October 2nd @ 9:30 am in the office conference room. Sign in with the
office as a visitor, then follow where Ms. Marty directs.
