students holding up wood creation

Mr. Feltner's classes have been busy down in the shop this semester!

The Construction Tech students designed tiny homes and built models, along with other projects this semester. I have attached a couple of photos of different student designs.

The Manufacturing Tech students worked in "business" groups and developed business and marketing plans to sell their products. The two standout teams made cutting boards (about 40 total), and laser engraved portraits (photos below). The "cutting board" team brought in over $800 in sales! Hazen Wolfley, the leader of the team, received recognition as a NOJH Student of the Month in a ceremony this morning. He stayed after school nearly every day in December to get the cutting board orders filled.

The robotics students are an exceptional bunch, and continue to amaze me with their projects. I included some pics of them working (one of them might look familiar ;)). I also included a photo of Mrs. Moore with her "leg lamp" that was designed and 3D printed by one of my students, Treyson Ray. He is a young man who is a genius at problem solving.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mr. Feltner, and we are thankful for everything he has done to ignite creativity in his students.
